This Museum is very quaint and has lots in it. The history of barb wire is even included. It has an old jail cell and lots of wanted posters. We found a poster of someone involved in a bombing from the town we live in which happened in the 1970s. If you love the old west, this is a must... 更多
This is a relatively small museum that highlights the history of Medora and the surrounding county. The museum is located in the old Billings County Courthouse building.
Stopped here and paid the $3 admission. Spent about an hour going through the exhibits. There were exhibits on military and law enforcement, Ukrainian history plus several more. I spent about an hour here and enjoyed my visit. If you have an hour or so to kill this is worth the small admission charge.
This is a nice place to stop if you have an hour to spare in Medora. The admission price is reasonable. The kids liked all the military displays, the old jail, and the courthouse. There is an extensive barbed wire fence display.
This is a great little hidden gem in the city of Medora. Lots of cool artifacts. The courtroom is located upstairs and the jail and city offices are on the bottom floor. Allow about 1 hour to view the whole museum. I think the cost is $3.00. Well worth it. On Saturdays at 11:30 is a short skit called Murder... 更多
The Billings County Court House Museum isn’t a top tier museum in the regional context, nor does it claim to be. However, it has interesting exhibits and very low admission fees. Considering the other attractions in/near Medora, this would be a secondary or rainy day activity.
We had just left the Harold Schafer Heritage Center (which was free) and had to pay $3 to tour this building............while interesting pieces are there - it's small. Granted $3 is not a large amount to pay but I would not go there again.
