This house is a wonderful example of Arts and Crafts style as well as early innovations in technology. Much of the furniture and artifacts of the house are original to the owners. Fascinating information about the early timber trade also.
Really enjoyed the tour of the Riordan Mansion. The tour guide was passionate about telling the history of the Riordans and was quite entertaining. It gives you a great history on Flagstaff and how influential the Riordans actually were.
Riordan Mansion is definitely worth a visit. We joined a tour and the guide was great - providing detail on the family and building including the social and historic significance. The house is very interesting and a wonderful example of the Arts and Crafts style.
