very interesting piece of local history. its a very hidden attraction iin the middle of the city and could easily be missed if you didn't know about it in advance. I wish you were allowed access to the inside of the furnace, maybe guided tours.

Free, well maintain and an awesome place to take pictures. I will go out of my way to see it. Lots of history. It would be great if they would make this place into an actual museum site with tours.
