As with the rest of the park it is well maintained and cared for. Easy walking and offers good view of the Tennessee River.

So many young men perished in such a short time. The cemetery was very well maintained. The view of the river was beautiful.

It was very peaceful and attractive. The information was respectful and not gaudy. The location was beautiful and I really had a sense of what happened here.

This is a well maintained cemetery with brick paths to help you move around. It set on a hill overlooking the Tennessee River which added to it's beauty.

I live close to Shiloh. There isnt a prettier place. The cemetery is very respectful and beautiful to visit. Its right on the river. Its a pretty place to visit. Hike, bike or walk for exercise while you're there.

You can tell the holiness of a cemetery upon arrival -- quiet and serene. So many headstones all lined up like the soldiers were when they were alive, even lines. Many have no names on them, just numbers. Large trees and many monuments of cannon and fireballs as tribute. Right along the back of he cemetery is the Tennessee River.... 更多

Many, many graves marked as unknown soldiers. My friends and I didn't realize just how many soldiers were buried here.

Shilo National Cemetery is on the edge of Shilo Park and was created in 1866. It is a sobering place, as is any military cemetery. It covers a 10 acre area and contains the remains of 3,584 Union soldiers, 2,300 of which are unknown. The age of the cemetery as well as what is written on the headstones makes it... 更多

While at the battlefield make sure to stop by the cemetery to pay your respect and really put the battle into real perspective! So many lives lost. Not all bodies even known and graves with only numbers no names. Cemetery very well maintained.

After visiting the Battlefield, my husband and I visited the Shiloh National Cemetery where the bodies of the Union soldiers were relocated for burial. Many have unkown soldier inscribed and most have just a small white marker with a number inscribed on the top of it.
