The building is very interesting and worth seeing. The collection has more curiosity value than anything else, but special exhibits are often very good. We saw a show of works by Cady Wells, an interested New Mexico artist we knew nothing about.
One of the showplace museums in a city dominated by art and historical venues, an hour or two spent here is time well spent. And the artwork is supplemented by a very good gift shop.
This museum was in an older building, which was especially evident inside - such as having lots of older dark wood. For me that added to the charm. The viewing rooms were a good size, and there was a selection of newer and older art....更多

This art museum is downtown... just off of Santa Fe Plaza. If you go downtown, it is pretty easy to get to regardless of where you park. The museum is in an adobe structure that is really pretty... It has a limited but interesting display...更多
We went primarily to experience Gustave Baumann, but there were only one or two of his pieces. Very odd. We were like "um, where is the rest of the museum?" We couldn't believe that's all there was. The small museum shop was very nice, and...更多
Enjoyed the building, the art. Walk into the Auditorium that is like a church, and check out the sculpture gardens. Small but interesting collection. Won't take but an hour of your day.
There are a few interesting works from native New Mexicans, which are compromised by brightly colored (red and teal) walls. The courtyard, however, is lovely
