This was nice. Cost is $3. A little expensive considering it takes all of 5 minutes to appreciate the chapel and the staircase. The staircase is no mystery, however - it is a helical staircase. Stop if you have time.
We paid $3 each to view the "magnificent staircase". I must say, it was disappointing - not so much because the staircase is not "magnificent", but because there is a $3 charge to go into this beautiful, but very small chapel in which the staircase...更多
A small well maintained old church but now privately owned. A very unique and unusual wood circular staircase called a miracle by many. Worth a visit but they exit you through a large gift shop. A little too much commercialism really.

The loretto chapel is a privately owned chapel. A continuous loop audio broadcast in the chapel gives you a history of the chapel. Of special interest is the story of the mysterious stairway.
