We parked off of Rowe street but there was additional parking. There is the memorial outside with the names of the fallen soldiers sorted by war and also by municipality of origin. Inside there is a museum. We did not use ur time well and...更多
The war memorial is small, but very well laid out. It has the names of all the Virginians that have fought in all the wars over time. It should take about 15-20 minutes to go through it unless one wants to read the names inscribed.
Visit this wonderful memorial. The displays, the authentic memorabilia, the famous (and not so famous quotes) by past military leaders is a fantastic history lesson and a way to both remember and honor our veterans. Staff was very helpful.
