Pam Cosby Smith greeted our group and was very knowledgable about the mansion. It has a unique history including a Christmas fire. Lots of amazing paintings and artifact, and a beautiful garden. I wonder how it is decorated for Christmas... Parking is difficult.

Great reason to visit Capitol Hill area as both the Capitol and the executive mansion are open to visitors. Well worth a look for both in state and out of state visitors. Don't miss the historical sculptures outside both buildings as sort of history park.

The home is absolutely gorgeous inside and the lady that gives the tour was really nice. She even offered to take our picture in front of the home.
