What an experience we had in Plains, Georgia! We toured the Plains High School where Jimmy and Rosalyn Carter attended, the Jimmy Carter boyhood home, and strolled the one block-long town of Plains where the Historic Inn and Antique Mall is located. Jan runs the Antique Mall is a book of knowledge regarding the town. She made our trip that... 更多
This historic building is still operating as an Inn. There are 7 rooms, each dedicated to an era from 1920 - 1980. They each have a private bath, cable TV, wireless internet, an elevator to accommodate wheelchairs. It is smoke-free and pet-free. Each room is very large, some of the furniture was made by former President Jimmy Carter, and decorated... 更多
The Inn is always booked ahead so call and make your reservation ahead of time. We were very lucky that they had someone cancel so we were able to get a room for Saturday night, 1-28-17. The rooms all have a different decor, one is 1920s, 1930s, 1940s, 1950s, 1960s. You have to see it to believe it. The Antique... 更多

Each room is appointed in a different decade. We stayed in the 1920 room...beautifully done. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was quite adequate. The downstairs is full of set off areas for individual antique dealers.
We stayed at the inn and were very pleased with our accomodations and the ease of the experience. Located in the top floor of the antiques store, the decade themed rooms offer a wonderfully historic setting. Comfortable bed and spacious suite and bathroom made for a relaxing stay. If you stay in Plains, stay here!
The antique store is very nice and has a great variety of items, but one of the best parts are the ladies than run the store and the Inn, they are very friendly and helpful. The Inn itself was fabulous! We stayed in the 1940 room. It was a wonderful place, very cozy yet spacious and comfortable. All the rooms... 更多

The room is large and like a mini-museum itself. Don't miss the opportunity to stay at this Historic Inn. We stayed on a Sunday night with two months notice and still obtained... 更多
