This shop in the heart of the French Quarter was full of so many voodoo items. Service was great. I could ave spent several hours just looking around.
I was in the other voodoo shop and a friend of mine suggested coming here. It is an interesting shop, and a place one should experience when in the quarter. There are different kinds of energy that come from areas of the shop. There were also lots of things for the tourist to purchase and take home, whether they believe... 更多
Of course finding a Voodoo Shop was on my list when I was in New Orleans. Finding this one was a great find. There are lots of shops with the word voodoo in them but they are just a tourist trap. This place was just what I was looking for. I would have spent a lot more time exploring the... 更多
This place is pretty small and the outside is definitely more creepy then inside. Has an okay feeling for the spiritual side and its just very touristy. Lots of folks going in and out non stop and its tight inside. You can buy plenty of books, dolls, incense, cards, etc. Its all there for you to buy and look at.... 更多
I was in New Orleans a few weeks after Marci Gras. Burnout street was not busy and was a great time to visit. The shop was really interesting. Lots of things to look at and purchase. There is an alter inside with a painting of a woman. I asked the man behind the counter who she was and was told.... 更多
I walked in on a whim. We've passed it by many times. Immediately upon entering, the atmosphere around me changed; it was peaceful and calming, unlike the drunken revelry outside. The sights, smells, and sounds are captivating. Don't miss out on the back room.
While in New Orleans on business I asked a server where I could go to find an authentic Voodoo store. The server recommended Marie Laveau House of Voodoo, and it did not disappoint. The store was awesome! There was so much cool stuff to look at, I purchased a Voodoo doll, and smoother trinkets while there. The lady and the... 更多
Went in, very touristy, cannot take photos of anything. Slightly over priced but to be expected. The gentleman that was working was rude, unhelpful and had zero personality. We asked him where her grave was and he kind of looked at us like we had 3 heads. Would not return.
This shop is really really small. There were a lot of people packed in when I visited. Lots of little items for all different purposes. The staff is very knowledgeable and can help you find anything you may need. DON'T TOUCH THE ALTARS. There are signs everywhere telling you what you can't touch but in a shop where everything is... 更多
I'm in love with this place. It's about as funky and as real as New Orleans gets if you like the voodoo culture. This store has some great dolls and the staff are quite engaged in telling you all about the products. It's more than a tourist stop, it's one of the many good things about the Crescent City.
