A wealth of information. Take a few minutes to watch the movie playing in the theater. It was a very good primer to the area's history. The displays are very well done and the information available there is comprehensive.
Staff in the information could not be more polite or helpful. There is so much in the Archives to view. Unfortunately, we were a little taken aback when we had to go through security to access the building. This is something we are not used...更多

The Alaska Public Lands Information Center has a lot of great information of course but take the time to pick the brains of all their staff. They are extremely knowledgeable of not jut the immediate area but also all about Alaska.

I felt it ruin the beautiful view. As I talked to local people, they are not happy about it. It sticks out like a sore thumb. Why would we do this to such beautiful land.
