Nice square but surround areas kind of ruin the charm of it. Savannah I think goofed on this one. It is one of the first four square laid by James Oglethorpe in 1733. It was originally named St James Square. This is another one of Savannah's great squares.

Savannah’s a beautiful city, especially the historic district. So what exactly happened around Telfair Square is beyond me. There are two buildings and a parking garage that are hideous and ruin the charm of the park. They appear to be constructed out of cheap gas station bathroom tiles. Dear god, they’re so ugly they could make unions cry.
