Very moving slave history. They built and worshiped here. Services still held. Just west of City Market off Franklin Square.
This was my second visit to the church but the first time I attended the worship service. It was such a humbling experience to be in a church with such a rich history. The service was very uplifting and the congregation was so friendly.
There is a tremendous amount of wonderful history associated with this church and the people who have been a part of it's congregation. However, any joy at learning the history was sullied by the rudeness, aggressiveness and arrogance of the tour guide. I believe his...更多
