Outside of the museum looks nice. Inside, there's a very limited collection. If you are not interested in scenes of war brutality or Russian icons or Jesus/the Virgin Mary, you will find little to enjoy. Yes, there are some famous artists and a few good...更多
This is a really great art museum. They have a great collection of many different types of art. I would like to return as soon as I can!
Next to the giant SD Museum of Art, the Timken makes up in quality for what it lacks in size. Rembrandt, Rubens and Van Dyck are just a few of the masters represented.
Timken houses a significant amount of European, American, and Russian paintings, and a Rembrandt. And, best of all ... it's "Free" admission. I believe it's closed on Mondays, so check the hours before you go. Hope this helps you.
