Interesting visit. The proprietor was nice enough to give us a quick demo of how the printing press operated. Only took about 10 minutes from beginning to end so easy to squeeze in while your in the area.
The Printing Office of Edes and Gill was one of our stops while visiting Boston. Both kids and adults in the group enjoyed this free attraction very much! Very informative but still fun!!

Nice, informative guide who demonstrates the workings of the printing press and a brief talk on life in the 1700's. A nice little stop that is close to other sights: Paul Revere House, Old North Church, and a chocolate shop next door.
This is a nice complement to the Revolutionary history in Boston, especially with the importance of printing in Boston leading up to the Revolution. It was fascinating to see a printing press in action from that era. Having the owner in costume and so obviously...更多
