I stopped by the admire the beautiful architecture. There is a beautiful temple and prayer bell. There is also a giant Buddha statue where you can leave offering which I found to be quite beautiful.

We arrived in the late afternoon there were families with children gathering for some good fellowship. So pleasant in touristy Lahaina. The mission grounds are beautiful, this is a site you must see regardless of your religious persuasion.
The Jodo Mission has the largest Budda statue outside of the Orient. It is located in a quiet corner of Lahaina and we were the only people at the mission when we visited.
