Such a beautiful, peaceful place. It was one of the last places we saw before leaving the island. It will be one of the first places we visit the next time we visit Kauai. The people there were very friendly. The temple grounds were amazing...更多
A peaceful oasis. You're not allowed to go anywhere near the new temple, which is under construction and looks amazing, but the existing worship space is open. They're quite strict about visiting hours, so pay close attention to that - a phone call to double...更多
Have been going to visit Monastery for years. Beautiful and peace-filled. Years ago you could wander the grounds during your tour, they keep you more confined now. Love to see the monastery being constructed. Definitely worth checking it out!
We went here on a rainy day to see the actual temple only to find that you cannot go anywhere near the new one. We saw the old one and it was interesting. The bronze sculptures and the story of how the temple is being...更多

We went on a rainy day, but it was still very special. Beautiful gardens and views. This is a spiritual oasis in a busy town. Great gift shop/bookstore too.
The Hindu Monastery graciously allows access to a portion of its grounds M - F from 9 - noon. You can treat this as an opportunity to learn about the religion, or simply as a stroll through a beautiful garden. They have sarongs available at...更多
