They have one of the most complete Brontosaurus fossils along with other interesting specimens. Small museum worth a stop if you have kids with you or love fossils and dinosaurs.
Easy access on Campus, nice exhibits, pleasant staff. Several museums in the area so okay to park car and walk around. Beautiful campus. Also recommend going Down Town to look at the painted Murals on the Buildings. Nice walk as you look at shops.
Free, interesting and on the campus of the University of Wyoming. Very nice collection and well labeled. This is something that you should visit you are in the area.

So the girl at the information desk in the Union directed me here, and I am glad she did! A MARVELOUS geological museum!
Stopped here for the kids to see dinosaurs on our way through Wyoming. Was a little difficult to find as it is on the interior of the campus, I had to ask where to go. Was a nice stop, got through it pretty quickly. Can do it in a half hour.
This is a great little museum. The brontosaurus skeleton is fabulous, as is the T-rex outside. My kids had a great time with the topographic map sandbox. Lots of great fossils and a great mineral exhibit. Good overview of Wyoming's geology and paleontology.
