John Muir started his expedition here. Not really why I liked it. Quiet and peaceful. The walk connects a series of parks, so you have restrooms and garbages along the way. Nice and breezy on a hot day.
I enjoy fishing around the Island. Various organizations I am involved with have hosted or attended events at the Pavilion and the grounds of the park.
Except for the ridiculous amount of mosquitoes, this is a great path by the river, going over the bridge, and providing about 2 miles of walking. There's also many entry points to the river (careful, the water is fast moving), a jungle gym for the...更多
This is a very pleasant park...it fronts the river, has trees, grass, playground equipment, and picnic areas. However, this is nothing the traveler should go out of his way to visit other than to enjoy looking at the river.
