This is an interpretive center - which means there are lots of interactive displays, most of them excellent for children. There is information on westward expansion and it's effect on Native Americans. Also a bit of information on the Pony Express and several other interesting items. The staff are very helpful and informative.
This is an extremely impressive museum. We were passing through Wyoming on a roadtrip to Montana and weren’t too sure what to expect with the state, but this museum gives a really great history into the trails that formed the whole West – the Oregon Trail, California Trail, Mormon Trail, and Pony Express. I learned a lot more about the... 更多
This unique museum brings to life the pioneers trails, struggles and day by day hard life. You can experience their hardships almost first hand; from pulling a wagon wheel to lifting up heavy burden. There are so many things to watch, touch, lift, drag and listen to, sooner than later you find yourself completely involved with the pioneers trails and... 更多
We make a habit of taking our out of town guests to the Trails Center. I have personally visited many times and always learn something new. If you are going through Casper, make time to check out this fascinating Museum, so important to learning the history of the western expansion.
After riding on a wagon train, we stopped in to take in this museum. Great addition to our experience. Museum steps through time, detailing the process of the trails, how and why they became so important to our country. A lot of hands on activities for all ages. The video was quite informative as well. Worth a visit for all.
This is an unusual museum experience where you become a part of the action. See the settlers trail activities brought to life right in front of your eyes. Act out your own role in pulling a wagon yourself down the trails; will you actually make it to Salt Lake? Great exhibits for kids to experience as well. You must see... 更多

There is a wagon train replication you can take and other participation exhibits. Also a good film about life at that time. So this is a good place for all ages. It's located at... 更多
This is one of the best museums we have visited. It is especially good for children. There are a lot of hands on activities. There are also a lot of large scale models of wagons. The video is excellent. The staff is very friendly and interested in helping children learn.
educational and wonderful experience. Staff were friendly and very helpful when answering all our questions. We were there to meet Morris who was conducting Wagon Rides. After the ride we returned to continue looking at the exhibits as there was so much to see.
