Beautiful area to kayak with many waterways to navigate. Beware the outgoing tide as you may well become stranded until the next high tide rolls in. Plenty of birds to see.
This is for the art walk and Cutthroat Climb. The artwalk is interesting and easily accessible to everyone. We also did the Cutthroat Climb, trailhead reached via tge boardwalk. It's named after the Cutthroat trout salmon. Nice, 2/3 mile loop. Lots of (uneven) stairs. Great...更多
I'm so glad we decided to stop at the Willapa Wildlife Refuge after driving past for many years. What a treasure! There are basic restrooms and parking. Maps and nature guides are available in the Ranger office. Head up the boardwalk for a short walk...更多
It was a rainy, drippy morning when we started the art trail, but the sun was shining when we left! The sculptures were fascinating and the steep climb up the trail really got our here pumping. I'm so glad we did this!
