The course layout was fun. Very forgiving, and also rewarded great shots. The greens had just been aerated so they were Sandy. But that didn't affect my review since we knew of their condition prior to the round. The was the first time I played here, their clubhouse is a double wide trailer, kind of disappointing for such a high... 更多
We enjoyed our return trip to Home Course recently. The course has always been in good condition and was so in July even though we have not seen much rain this summer. It offers a challenge for all golfers depending on the set of tees that you play. The facilities are improving and they are supposedly building a restaurant or... 更多
Some reviewers claim that The Home Course is a good alternative to Chambers Bay. That is simply not true. The course is a good tournament course because it is flat (easy to walk), has no rough (no time lost looking for balls), and can be stretched to 7,400 yards. It is also well maintained with excellent turf and greens. And... 更多
My second time playing The Home Course. Great views of Puget Sound. For those from outside the area, I recommend getting a Play and Stay Package through the Liberty Inn which is less than 10 minutes from the course. Hotel is walking distance to most of the restaurants in the area. Ask for Eve. You can also get a play... 更多
I was so excited to play this course. Waited all year to drive the 5 hours. Then I get there with my group and we notice that the pro shop is a trailer. The restaurant is out of a food truck (PS food trucks are great). That should have been the first clue. The course looked like it had not... 更多
The Home Course is beautiful with its views of Puget Sound & challenging for any level of golfer. Since it was the site for the 2010 U.S. Amateur Championship, you know it's top notch. With Chambers Bay close by, you can count on this course being a destination vacation spot, too!! Have fun!
True test of golf where just any one hole can affect your scorecard. Views of a distant mountain, waterway, no homes on course, sand and more sand, water, doglegs, wind, fast level greens and greens with slopes of 4 degrees. Open Links style setup. The greens fee is high unless you are a WSGA member, PNGA, member, Home Course club... 更多
Located about an hour south of Seattle, this course is worth the drive. As is the case with a lot of the courses in this part of the country, the views are great. The course is built on a sand dune, so even in early spring it was not muddy. It plays as an almost pseudo links course. The greens... 更多
