Great stop for under-12 kids, to peer at tarantulas, etc in about a dozen cages. This is also a souvenir shop with the science kits, fossils, gems etc you'd expect. Not really a must-see, but you won't regret stopping.

I liked the live tarantulas and bugs and ants, and the huge displays of mounted bugs were awfully impressive. We saw live bugs that looked like non-bugs (leaves, sticks), and many other exhibits, but I’d have to say the reptiles were my favorites.
