Great place to hike. We went up at Massie Gap and backpacked setting up our tent and then hiking on up towards the top. Lots of ponies were down low. The hike up is at least moderate - it can be very rocky and challenging...更多
This is one of the most beautiful places on earth! Highly recommend bringing the family up and going to see the ponies. Maybe go for a hike to one of the many waterfalls around the area while you are at it.

First this place is "away from it all". So it takes a while to get there, but it is wonderful. There are a couple of hidden waterfalls, wild ponies, gorgeous trails, huckleberries, and lots of just simply nature.
