We arrived just after closing, but the staff re-opened and let us see the special exhibit. Staff was awesome and it is well worth a stop!
Beautiful display, friendly staff. It's small, but offers a nice mix of historic quilts and newer ones as well. The preservation of History is important even if not always exciting. There's lovely bakery and cafe across from the Museum and the entire area is wonderful...更多
The rotating displays have been fascinating and varied, from historical collections to women's current issues, to quilts commemorating our National Parks. Each visit yields a different experience. Check the website to see the topic of the current collection on show, and when the next arrives.

I am a quilter so I was in my element. The quilts and information with them was great. At $7 admission it might be pricey for a family. Did not have a docent that day, but we navigated ourselves.
My wife was into the quilts. It was worth the price of admission to check out the architecture of the and history of the house. The quilts were interesting, more for her than me, but still worth tagging along.
