My friends and I hike here a lot. Its beautiful, peaceful and adventurous. The trails are over up and down hills, rocks, trees and some creeks and streams. There is a paved trail too. Bathrooms are clean. There is a park and wifi area. Fun for family, friends and couples. Best way to get some great exercise.
I visit Arbor Hills frequently to run, walk and "hike". The paved paths are perfect for running or biking, and the miles of unpathed trails are peaceful and (usually) quiet. This is one of my favorite places to spend a sunny afternoon.
Pleasant scenes, free parking, and not too strenuous. One point less because the map wasn't easy to find and even if we find it, it isn't helpful. Neither are the sign posts inside the preserve. Best is to go when there are crowds, so that we don't get lost.
If you like to walk, as my wife and I do, it is difficult to find a good spot in Plano or Dallas. This is such a place. They have several trails that you can follow. It can get busy at weekends, but it is a good way to stretch your legs and see some nature.

Anyone planning a staycation should add this to the list, as it is a nice respite from the hustle of the city. Our kids enjoyed the playground, and we saw lots of families and dogs before us as we... 更多
I really like Arbor Hills Nature Preserve. It is a great place to exercise. The only thing I would recommend is to not go on the weekends from 10 to 4 pm. It gets super crowded! I like early or late walks/runs. It is a great place for solo, couple, or friend and family walks. Also , it is pet... 更多
This is got to be one of Plano's finest outdoor activities that is free. You can go here and picnic have a party or simply take the time to walk through the beautiful nature reserve. Get away from the hustle and bustle of all the building and construction and just get away from it all. I found this with my... 更多
Arbor Hills Nature Preserve is just minutes off of the Dallas North Tollway, one of the busiest roads in North Texas, yet when you're at Arbor Hills you can forget the congestion of the city and just enjoy nature. A truly great tract of land preserved "close-in" for your pleasure. Enjoy!
