Gorman Falls trail is very rocky. Wear hiking boots if possible to avoid twisted ankles. Much of the trail is open to the sun, so forewarned, water is a good idea (the Park sets out water coolers at the trail head). The final 150 meters...更多
The hike to the falls is nice until you get to the part of the trail just above the falls, then it's steep and the rocks are very slippery. I'm sure a seasoned hiker would have o problem. It's a little scary for us novices....更多
Our son recommended this excursion to us when we told him we were hiking in the hill country. It was 1.5 hours out of our way. What a treat and so worth the drive (and hike)! We never knew such extraordinary beauty existed right here...更多
It's not a bad hike until you get to the end. You can see the falls without going all the way down which is very steep and you have to hold the rails going down or you will slip. Be sure to wear shoes with...更多
Great hike ending at the falls where you can sit and cool off for a while. Not in the water though as that is prohibited. Take the tie trail on the way back for a scenic overlook.
We went when there had been a lot of recent rain so it was flowing very well. It would appear the falls does not get a lot of sun because it was very lush, compared to the surrounding scenery. The trail does not have that...更多
This place is very peaceful, I went to take some pictures and I was surprised for the environment. The trail is easy to follow, but please watch your steps when you get closer to the falls. For sure I will visit it again.
