Amenities are similar to all Corps of Engineer Parks. Recent upgrading and a new shower house. Quite a few 50 amp sites, sites overlooking Lake Belton, and lots of Live oak trees. many sites are shaded just all-in-all a great destination.
Live Oak Ridge Park remains one of our favorite weekend get always, for both the huge oaks we park our trailer under, and the peace and quiet. It's a great place for a get away, with the lake to kayak and fish in, and the park across the street to hike through.
This is a beautiful park with many shaded sites. The park is up high on bluffs. Helpful staff. Bring your own firewood or burn debris from site (usually you have to buy from the park) Showers were large and clean. Wifi only near entry. Watch out for 30 amp. We could only use one AC. (can manage 2 and frig... 更多
We camped here on our way to East Texas. The campsites are huge and very well maintained. Very level pads and firepits that are cleaned out, not full of old ashes. We had a covered picnic table and grill. Our spot backed up to the lake making for incredible views.
Went with two families, 4 kids. Facilities were well maintained and clean. Sites were large. Good lake access and close proximity (across street) to Miller Springs Park which had great hiking trails and mountain bike trails to take younger kids. Definitely recommended for camping at Belton Lake.
Live Oak has easy access to Wal-Mart and restaurants, etc. It's on a cliff, so you have great views, but limited lake access via the boat ramp. There is no septic at the sites, so you use the dump station. 30 and 50 amp service is available. Lots of trees and shade, along with large sites make this a great... 更多
We recently sold our RV, but when we had it we would bring it to Live Oak Ridge Park when we just needed to get it out and use it. The park was close to the house, but it also had some of the best views of any park on the lake. They are located on their own little cove... 更多
Spent 3 days camping looking at Belton Lake and dam. Our grandson attends Mary Harden Baylor which is 10 minutes from the park. Park is very clean and our site had a covered area over the picnic table. Not all sites have these. Bathroom was all tile and very clean. We enjoyed being so close to all the shopping areas... 更多
Very nice campgrounds. Concrete pads, modern hookups, fantastic restroom/shower house. Very friendly camp hosts. Quiet location, but nice for families. There is a laundry facility with WiFi access however I did not visit? Will most definitely visit again. This is a Corp of Engineers campground. Limit of 14 day stay. Dump station available.
