We were in Queenscliff on a group outing and happened onto the Maritime Museum by chance. It depicts much of the local maritime history including the famous couta boats. Reasonably priced and informative, it is indeed worth a visit.
We visited with our 4 children and they also enjoyed exploring the museum. The highlights for them was definitely being able to try on the diving helmet and also being able to imaginary sail on the boats outside. We found the museum to be well...更多
Pretty good little museum with some good displays. The museum has an indoor & out door section and is kid friendly. Also the staff are very friendly and love passing on local information. Worth a visit.
We travelled to Queenscliffe for the express purpose of visiting the Fort and Maritime Museum. Imagine our disappointment to see signs saying that their is no admittance without Photo Id's, the first time I have encountered this anywhere in the world!更多

I enjoyed the historical information and the kids loved that were up and close to the artifacts very accommodating for all age groups . A must to go and see when you are visiting Queenscliffe.
