Good spread of local history in this lovely volunteer run museum. Gives an engaging idea of the areas history and the kids enjoyed the various displays. Worth a visit.

You can spend a few hours in the history museum looking at all the areas of time. the museum is situated in the original bank building where all the gold from Walhalla was shipped from , up to 1000oz per day. The history going back...更多
Check their opening hours before making it a destination cuz it's a bit of a drive for just the museum. It IS in the heart of the beautiful wharf area where you can fish and picnic. Wild Fish restaurant is also great.
