Located in a major suburb, this civil war site is pretty well preserved. You can still see the earthworks and the views provide clear evidence of why this location was chosen. Can be difficult to get there, especially from Pinkerton Park.

This is a small park with a lot of Civil War history. Some of the park is under renovation (as of March 2017) and is not walkable. However, you are able to see trenches dug by Civil War soldiers, which is pretty neat for tween-aged...更多
It is somewhat hard to locate. Small but informative. A park area with a raised boardwalk highlighting with placards aspects of Franklin's Civil War battles and skirmishes. Much review of the Franklin Civil War Battle experience.
Too bad most of the area closed; would love to have been able to access informational stations; however, it is great that they are trying so hard to preserve the area. It's wonderful that we can still feel and relive events from 150 years ago....更多
