If your in the area, you have to stop and check out the park, it is "AWESOME"!!! The park will take your breath away and it makes you want to "rock hunting".
We ate lunch in a local restaurant and were told by some of the local people that this would be a nice place to visit. We were not disappointed. I would not drive far out of the way to see, burt if close , make a visit. The different designs and petrified wood are good. The statue of GD Lemmon... 更多

Worth a stop regardless of time of year. The park reflects a time when this type of display was typical to lure traffic driving cross country. It made us laugh and ponder in awe. As a display of petrified wood, I have never seen its equal.
We got here after they're normal hrs in the fall ; but we walked around outside & what we saw was very interesting & very creative. We will come back because we'd love to see the info they've got inside.

We even took pictures and sent them via texts to my brother and... 更多
Another treasure in Lemmon SD. This park is a must see if you are in the area. We had fun walking thru the park and the museum and gift shop. The people who run it are very knowledgeable and will tell you all about fossils and petrified wood. We loved it.
