Had so much fun took a hour long ride to the dairy farm our driver Ben what awesome guy he took his time and answered all our questions He was very attentive and was a pleasure to talk to to,learn about the culture. It was a great change from the hustle and bustle of New Jersey
This was such a unique experience for us! Charlie and Chester were awesome tour guides lol. And of course so was our driver Sam. We had the opportunity to see the Amish working the land in their horse drawn equipment and the visit to an actual amish farm was awesome. Definitely a must do when in Lancaster County.
We had a really cool time riding in the buggy with Sam the driver and the two horses, Chester + Charlie. The operation was simple... we met Ed, who was kind and not flashy. The ride was as promised, roughly 45 min. (20 min to an Amish family's farm and 20 min back). We stopped and shopped at the Amish... 更多
We read reviews online and saw a lot of positive feedback for Ed's Buggy RIdes. We decided to take our young children and do a buggy ride. The owner assured us we would not be traveling on any busy roads. We left through a little back trail which was great- but lasted about 1 minute. The rest of the road... 更多
My family had a great time in their buggy rides. While you wait to set up the horses they have a small petting zoo with goats to keep the kids busy. The driver allowed my kids to sit up front with him and we went along the road and through a real farm and saw the Amish in action. I... 更多
My wife and I visited ed's buggies recently. Although it is not initially what we expected, we had a great time anyway . We thought the buggy ride would be given by an Amish person , but on weekends it is a mix of Amish and others. Actually I think we learned more about the Amish than if we would... 更多
We took the longer one hour tour, which is supposed to include a visit to an Amish farm and a more immersive experience. The tour guide / buggy driver was surprisingly not knowledgeable about the Amish, despite being one. Most of our questions, about their way of life, were answered by "I don't know. That's just the way we do... 更多
After reading the reviews for several of the buggy rides in this area we decided to use Ed's and take the special buggy ride. This tour lasted a little over one hour and we rode only on less traveled rural country roads through the farmland. Contrary to some of the reviews that I read Ed is a pleasant and friendly... 更多
We had the best experience at Ed's it's a private tour that doesn't cost a fortune, it's not overcrowded and you really get a wonderful education on the Amish, even though it's not run by Amish! We love the Amish people but this is still run by Pennsylvania natives who are very informative, friendly and friends with the Amish. The... 更多
We had Sam, a mennonite, who drove us to an Amish farm and explained (albeit briefly) about their way of life. We really enjoyed asking questions and listening to the fantastic stories he had to tell (and he had a bunch). We got to go on the back roads to a farm and it was very pleasant ride.
