Not usually keen on audio tours but this was good. you need one and a quarter hours to do it properly but its very intersting. The audio machines worked well and you can stop and start them as you wish. Amazing old building tucked away behind the market place. Not often you can touch the exhibits, open drawers and sit... 更多

A fab museum, packed with information about the local area. Free to enter, Stockport Story Museum has four floors of displays. We especially enjoyed the collection of Victorian memorial/mourning items. Definitely worth a visit.
Lovely local museum, covering so many aspects of Stockport's history, from brick making, coal mining, brewing, transport, the police, fire brigade and local sporting endeavours. A couple of lovely Lowry painings, and other local paintings, and loads for the children t0 do. Recommended.

The kids did a picture trail and won a prize which they were delighted with. Great to see some pride in... 更多
