This was a nice family friendly place to visit. Does require some walking but beautiful location and the ground are well kept. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I am not typically a Cloisters type of guy but i have to admit that this was an interesting and informative visit. Our guide was excellent, answering all questions with a good deal of historical knowledge .

I found out about the Ephrata Cloister when visiting the old train depot in Ephrata, which is now an information center. The Cloister is what remains of a semi-monastic community for which the town is named, founded in the 1730's. There is such a wealth...更多
