Before we hiked the trails out to the overlook, spent about a 1/2 hour going through the museum. The museum has some interesting facts about the local area and the CG station before, during and after WWII. If you have time, spend a few hours...更多
The sailors posted to this station back in the day had nice views, good quarters and it was probably considered "good duty" - until bad weather hit and they were required to try to rescue boats that ran aground or hit underwater rocks off the...更多
After hiking the Coast Guard trail (amazing views), we stopped at the museum. This museum is so well done with amazing artifacts and telling about the history of the coast guard in the area. Highly recommend seeing if you enjoy maritime history.
