In the downtown, there is a piece of a old fort that was moved to the park in the early 1900s. Really interesting to see for the walls have holes cut into them for a rifle to shoot out. If you are traveling by you should stop this a neat park with a cool old building that used to be at fort Yamhill but was moved to this park. This park has nice trees and is a great place to picnic ad let the kids out of the car.
The park is just the way parks should be - good for a nice stroll, large trees, a bandstand for summer concerts, playground area, picnic areas.
