This is one of the better local museums we've visited. Lots of stuff, knowledgeable staff, interesting collection. The local Carnegie Library is attached and is worth a look for its architectural interest.

This is a very nice place to visit and see some of the history of the state of Oklahoma, there are nice displays of life at the beginning of statehood
Nice area/community museum with lots of local artifacts, photos ,and information. Connected to the Carnegie library. Did you know Gutherie was the first Capitol of Okla.?
Nice little gem we found from seeing a sign on the highway. Good mix of reading and artifacts here. Helped to explain the land rush in Ok. Carnegie library building was interesting to see from an architectural standpoint.
This is an interesting museum, but there just isn't very much here that you couldn't simply read in a book. The museum doesn't do a great job of engaging the visitor, aside from the interesting library section, and really is mostly panels or items behind...更多
