The Fort has been well restored and has many historic markers and graves from 1812 on. Kids would love it. The battle occurred across the Maumee River.

Fort Miegs has a long history with wonderfully open grounds and block houses. The recovered artifacts are amazing to see. The historians are very well versed and really enjoy what they do.
