This is by far the most impressive hill fort I have visited. Well preserved with massive defensive banks. The way there is not obvious from the car park better signs are needed.
A good example of an iron age hill fort. Useful interpretation boards. If you park your car at the cricket ground and walk along the path that borders the pitch to the road you do not cross the road onto the path directly opposite. Instead...更多

We must walk here every week - four miles round trip from our house. Steep up to the top and a good walk round the top. Excellent views. Interesting too.
