The park was smaller than we thought. We paid £7 for 4 hours parking which was way too long. There are places for bbqs and picnics. This is a place for a stroll rather than long walk.
Absolutely great place, lots to do and great trees to climb, lovely restaurant to eat with views of the train station so you can see the steam train pass! The children's park was fab! Loved it more than my son haha! Highly recommend. Free toilets too!
Although a pleasent walk where the River Leven joins Lake Windermere apart from going for a coffee at the quite expensive tea rooms there was not much to do. There are nice picnic areas next to the water with communal barbeque. There is nothing left of the house. There was a play area for children and at times you could... 更多
We selected Fell Foot as a trip out as we were National Trust members. I had some misgivings having read some of the reviews but with an open mind we had a great day out. I can imagine the parking charge putting off some people but it is one of the reasons we joined as there are so many NT... 更多
Lovely park and well maintained. Lots of space to sit a while for a picnic in the sun. Got the ferry across to lakeside and had a lovely walk to newby bridge and back again.
Family comprising of 11 people, aged 4 - 84 and 2 dogs. We really loved the Spring walk and the ambience of the coffee shop. A great place to spend a couple of hours.
We were here for a team building exercise of raft building. The lake was lovely and the grounds were also really nice. We went to the cafe and had coffee and cake, both nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful. £7 for 4 hours parking was a bit too steep mind especially as we pay for a national... 更多
If you're travelling from the south then this a great place to stop off and take a break. At the southern end of Lake Windermere it makes a very pleasant spot to have picnic before carrying on towards Bowness,Winermere etc. Some views are slightly obscured by the trees but glimpses of the lake are still beautiful.
We visit Fell Foot any opportunity we can. It is National Trust but you only pay for parking. It's a bit on the pricey side but well worth it. You can take your own bbq to have on the field or there are set areas for you to have a lovely family or friend get together. The lake is lovely... 更多
This is a beautiful little place, perfect for the family. It's National Trust so make sure you have your sticker in the window for parking, and i expect in the holidays it will be packed so parking could become an issue. Fell Foot is pretty small, but it makes for a lovely spot for a family walk by the lake... 更多
