This is a lovely store with excellent products from companies not in the main superstores. The range is nothing but excellent ( food industry for over 30 years experience). The museum is brilliant and a credit to its display staff. The coffee shop well the last time i visited the waitress gave a list of not available that long we... 更多
This shop appears so tiny from the outside yet it goes on and on through time and deliciousness. Plenty of high quality very classic foods including gluten free food. Love the little museum like corner and I will come back for a coffee one day!
Managed to park close by on a 30 minutes allowed parking bay on road and had to chuckle at a sign in the Grocer's window saying that the council was pretty hot on collecting cash so don't overstay. Yes, there was pleasant, friendly, knowledgeable service and plenty of good quality grocery items not often found in supermarkets though the long,... 更多
Want to reminisce? then this is the place. Enter via the butchers counter into a grocers walkway with brands remembered from childhood and then further into the back a shop from years gone by. This is how I remember shopping with my mother when I was a little girl, and many items provoked a long forgotten memory. A wonderful place... 更多
Very good quality food. Pleasant service. It is fairly central to Nantwich and many visitors enjoy looking at the yesteryear grocers shop. It brings back many memories from childhood.
Just to walk into Welch's as I still know it, is like stepping back in time. Helpful and attentive staff and a brilliant selection of high end groceries. From chocolates to ox tongue, pate to pickles - I could browse for ages. Go right to the very back and visit the vintage tea room. The only thing is that the... 更多
Not everyone is aware of this little gem, access is via the narrow shop but once found it is a lovely experience and well worth the effort
First of all you will never find it looking for "Austin's" as it is actually "AT WELCH" you have to look for written on a continental blind above its small shopfront. The shop is no more than 8 feet wide and features a Pork Butchers counter in the front area that still serves fabulous local bacon cut on an old... 更多
A little bit of history while you have a cup of coffee. The shop in the Café is 'stocked' with goods from our childhood and we have spent time reminiscing these things while having an excellent cafetiere of coffee.
