Called in after visiting Peckover House, did not know anything about Octavia Hill but by the end of our visit we did. We got reduced entry fee for being NT members
and was great given a brief history by a volunteer at the front desk....更多

Apart from the museum itself there is a nice tea room and enclosed outside seating area. The museum hosts clubs and societies and is used for receptions and arts events.

we knew that Octavia Hill helped start the National Trust but there is so much more to her life. Her work on managing social housing in a positive way was really interesting. The house needs a bit of an upgrade.
