This was a lovely stop on the way back to the city after Chutes Coulonge. Unfortunately you can't explore within the covered bridge, but it's a great photo opp.

This may be the second largest covered bridge in Canada, but it is closed to pedestrian and vehicle traffic. The town says that they have government funding to restore it, but there is no sign of anyone working on yet.
The history is interesting, although there isn't that much to see (unless you know stuff about architecture/building techniques). The bridge is in disrepair now due to the elements and poor maintenance, you can no longer cross it. Always was fun for kids in the car...更多
This bridge is a beautiful covered bridge. I first saw it in 2003. It is a fully covered bridge that is about 300 to 400 feet long. On the far bank from the 148 the is a historical plaque hung with the construction date. Sadly...更多
