I had planned a day trip to go do number of different things in the area, and this was one of them. This was not at all what I was expecting, but didn't really know what was going to await us when we got there....更多
Unfortunately we were there in the off season but we did see the Jack Miner Museum, turkey vultures, ducks, geese, various small birds and peacocks. It would be a great place to visit in late March, early April or October and November.
Visited here off season. Arrived and was greeted by one staff member who informed us that the stancuary was open but house tour was closed; however, she invited us (Mother and myself) in for a personal tour. Very friendly and knew a lot about the...更多
This is a historical spot that I love in Essex county. If you go in the fall, you will see hundreds and hundreds of the Canadian geese that stop for a rest here every year.
