This truly is a gem of a museum. Traces the history of alphabets from early civilizations up through modern times. Very interesting to see how varied alphabets can be from one part of the world to the other.
This free museum at the JAARS center south of Waxhaw is a very interesting place to learn more about how different cultures and peoples created their alphabets. Great for all ages.
We took a day trip to JAARS in April. We thought the introduction and overview of the organization was very helpful and instructional. They have a pleasant lunch room with great choices which are delicious. We had the chicken parmesan which was over the top...更多
