Lovely place to stop and learn some history on your way through Hatteras Island. Elaine was lovely and welcoming and very informative. We enjoyed our visit and I liked the climb up the staircase to the tower
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Chicamacomico, the docents were very helpful and shared quite a bit of the site's history. The buildings are well preserved and the view from the watch platform is fantastic. Great learning experience for our whole family - highly recommended!

The volunteers have done a fabulous job restoring the buildings on the site. The movie was a great introduction to... 更多
The guides were very knowledgeable and the short film showed how these men saved lives of the people on the stranded ships.
