I visited Kalbarri last month. The trekking path was well-formed and they have good facilities such as toilets. The view of the gorges was awesome. I just had to compromise with flies, but I think it is unavoidable.
Well after coming to Kalbarri specifically to geocache three place the roads were closed, so what a waste coming all the way from the wheatbelt! Apparently they have been closed since Feb. met up with some folk in Hawks head and they said it was closed last Feb 2016 and they wanted to know where they could go. Rather disappointing... 更多
We did the loop track, the z bend lookout and the river track and loved them all! The loop track isn't the easiest but it's well worth the effort and you will be rewarded with amazing scenery and views. I would highly recommend purchasing an insect head net to keep the flies away, I don't think we could have done... 更多
we couldn't go there but there are road closures 3/2 days of the week every week up until April/march. There was a list on the fridge of the B&B we stayed in so check in advanced if you want to go here, can still access Ross graham ans hawks head.
We took the trek on the Loop in the kalbarri national park gorge on the 31 st December , the climate was not so hot in town and windy as well, but down the canyon it will be hotter. At the parking area it was around 30-33 degrees. Left the parking area there is a simple walk till the natural... 更多
The view from the lookout is a sight to behold. However, I do recommend walking down to the river itself. The trail is difficult, but having a swim at the end of the walk made it all worthwhile.
After visiting Nature's Window in the Kalbarri Park, we decided to continue on the 'Loop' , an 8 km walk which is described in the brochures as being a 'challenging but impressive' walk through the gorge system. The information panels at the beginning of the trail warn walkers of the dangers of heat and suggest that only those of moderate... 更多

I did not have enough water and when I got to the river I chose to turn back. The walk gets increasingly challenging at this point and on a hot day I thought it better to have walked the ridge and got to the river and return the same way. The walk starts behind the "Window" attraction.
