Spent quite a few mornings at sunrise on the Hay river and it was bliss. A beautiful river system that was teaming with bird life and Black Bream for the fishos. The majority of river bank is untouched wilderness and it is a fantastic spot to explore by small boat, kayak or stand-up paddle board.
This is a well protected river that runs through the Denmark Township. The river is full of life and has fishing and kayak options. The hay river flows through the town of Denmark and there is a nice area down near the bridge where you can walk around and see some of the old boats near the bridge.

This river has a dirt boat ramp next to the road bridge. Probably only suitable for small tinnies and canoes. There are a few fishing spots on the river bank and the river itself runs into the Wilson Inlet. According to the locals - big bream are taken on river prawns in the river.
