For a Swede this is an american Skansen. Old bulidings, people dressed as in that time. We really appreaciated the guides knowledge.
Great tour for families and class trips. Enjoy learning a bit of history and being entertained too. My daughter loved coming here for her class trip as well. They host nice events so you should check our their calendar.
Richmond town is a good place to teach our children our past. Call before you go the buildings are not open everyday. Dont go when the Fair is going on it is too crowed. When the buildings are open the people dress in period clothing....更多
Try going when there is an event (not county fair). The home maybe be open and people in period garb doing work, baking, etc. Walk the lake and see wild life......maybe a deer or two. Great in spring or fall. Check web site for various...更多
